Dear
Friends & Supporters,
In the fall of 2009, 500 Magnolia Avenue in Larkspur
once again became our home. American Legion
Post 313 owns the facility and is a non-profit
organization committed to providing quality youth
programs in the community.
On November 20, 2010 in conjunction
with Post 313
and with the help of many of you, we raised $8,000
in our "Ladies
Who Sing With The Band" fundraiser.
Those funds were used for further
upgrades to the
facility@ 500 Magnolia Avenue. We were
able to
add space to the portable stage, put in a back drop
curtain and
side wings for stage entrances and exits,
put in a new lighting console with new dimmer packs
and improved instruments and instrument placement,
a new sound mixer, 16 channel snake and 4 opera
mikes. The facility also now has a new heating and
cooling system with plans to build a sound and light
booth and improve the storage and dressing room
facilities.
This is a very exciting time for ACADEMY DETURK
and we wish to once again extend our gratitude
to all involved.
