*** We are using a different format this summer.
Our first workshop, Session I will be two-weeks and
structured in the same way we have done all of our
workshops in the past. (Material TBD depending on age
and make up of participants.) Our second worshop,
Session II will be a three-week workshop and will explore
the political, environmental and societal issues
we all face at this unprecedented time in history
using original, period and contemporary music as
well as poetry, news articles and correspondence.
The working title is: "Wake Me Up"
The fee for Session I (two-week workshop) is $700
The fee for Session II (three-week workshop) is $1,000
*To reserve a space in the class, please send a $100 deposit
with the printed forms from the enrollment/application page.
** Note: We have expanded the age range of our workshops to accommodate
those students who have expressed a desire to continue beyond the age of 13.
We have found through our work that age does not necessarily dictate talent and/or
the ability to focus. We encourage the older students to mentor the younger ones
and vice versa. Solo material is chosen to be age appropriate. Our primary
prerequisite for our younger students is the possession of good reading skills.
